Travertine is a natural type of limestone made from mineral deposits that gives it its distinctive and rustic appearance. It has an unsealed, tumbled and porous finish. Due to the nature of this stone, colors may vary from a light off-white to various shades of beige/tan. Also, the texture will vary as pictured above. Some will have more or less texture and may even show some sparkle from the crushed minerals. They are truly one-of-a-kind, no two will ever be alike.
